2293 - Working with the Department of Temporal Investigations, the four year old starship USS The Sullivans under the command of Captain Rebecca Bluegarden is investigating the Rhydonian Nebula amid claims made by the Rhydonians that the nebula is an ancient battlefield. The Sullivans' next area of study is the Rhydonian Corridor- the only safe navigable passage through the nebula and home to one of the most strictly-enforced warp speed limits.

2373 - En route to her first fleet deployment since reactivation, the eighty four year old starship USS The Sullivans under the command of Captain Violet Bluegarden takes a shortcut through the Rhydonian Nebula to bypass the Dominion forces engaging the 16th Fleet and arrive ahead of the other reinforcements. However, as the ship enters the Rhydonian Corridor - the only safe navigable passage through the nebula, Captain Bluegarden's morning is interrupted when her "great grand mamaw"- who died eight years before she was even born- suddenly appears in her quarters.

However, it is more than just the captain who is in for a surprise; for The Sullivans, taking the exact same course it did eighty years prior, seems to have merged with its counterpart from the era, and now two crews from two completely different eras inhabit the same ship. Now, Rebecca, Violet, and their crews must work together to find a way to untangle the timelines.
